After collecting your rental car head towards your home for the week, a stunning 19th century Ch?teau. Time to relax and unwind and discover your new surroundings. Casual ?baked in the bread-oven? dinner in the ?Orangerie?.Overnight: Accommodation at the Ch?teau Day 3: Breakfast. Departure to one of the most beautiful outdoor markets of the region. Lunch near the market. In the afternoon, wine education in the Orangerie with tasting of 7 Bordeaux wines, followed by a cookery class and dinner.Overnight: Accommodation at the Ch?teau Day 4: Breakfast. Departure to the wine areas "Graves" and "Sauternes". Visit of wineries with private tasting. Visit of "Ch?teau de la Br?de,", historical property of Montesquieu, famous French philosopher and writer. Lunch at "La Forge" in Leognan. In the afternoon private city tour of Bordeaux, followed by dinner.Overnight: Accommodation at the Ch?teau Day 5: Breakfast. ?Duck workshop?, with lunch and wine-tasting in the Orangerie. Participants take away with them the goose liver (foie gras) and confits prepared in the workshop. Afternoon: departure to the Arcachon Bay. Visit of an oyster farm with tasting. We highly recommend 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates and/or accommodations. Car rental is based on a strict 24 hour consecutive period. The lead person named on the reservation must be the main driver, present at time of rental and payer of any additional charges with a minimum age of 25 years except for Luxury and Prestige vehicle groups which the minimum age is strictly 30 years old. A major credit card in the main driver's name is required for pickup of the vehicle as a car return guarantee. An authorization is obtained on your credit card based on the estimated rental charges; there must be sufficient credit on your card to cover all charges. Additional driver?s fee is charged locally at time of car pickup. All drivers must present a valid USA driver's license held for a minimum of one year at the time of rental. Collision Damage Waiver and theft protection are included but additional insurance, such as Personal Accident Insurance, is available at time of car pickup and is paid locally. Government tax (VAT) at the rate of 17.5% is included. A Vehicle Licensee Fee (VLF) apply to all rentals and a Location Service Charge will apply to all rentals with pick-up in airport/railway station or some downtown locations which are payable locally upon pick-up. Rentals will be charged an administration fee in case of traffic fines. Rates do not include fuel. All Hertz vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with full tank of fuel or a local refueling charge will apply. Child seats are available on request from all locations. Luggage racks are currently not offered. Additional charges for one way rentals are based on location restrictions and the vehicle type being rented. Vehicle may be driven to/from the Isle of Wight, the Orkney Isles and from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland with an extra charge for Premium, Luxury, Special and Automatic Van car groups to be paid locally. Driving to/from the Isle of Man, Guernsey or Jersey is prohibited. For round trip rentals from mainland UK to Continental Europe or Ireland, an additional surcharge will apply which includes RAC Continental Breakdown Coverage to be paid locally. Vehicles can only be driven into E.U. countries: Austria, France, Ireland, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden, Denmark, Greece, Netherlands, Finland, Italy, United Kingdom and Portugal as well as Norway and Switzerland. Full payment due within 1 day of booking by 2pm.Non refundable and non changeable package.Passport Requirements: It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visas. A valid passport is normally the only requirement for U.S. citizens. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.Restrictions Prices are per person based on double occupancy and a 30-day advance purchase. Purchases within 30 days will incur additional shipping and handling fees. Up to $35 each way weekend surcharge applies for travel on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges of $150 including the Sept. 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per segment will be applied. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to the invoice. Package price includes mandated airline fuel surcharges. Travel is valid for these dates only.
