Explore by kayak the dramatic, convoluted shoreline of this flooded canyon from our comfortable beach camp

Lake Powell, created with the Glen Canyon Dam in 1966, is one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the USA. Almost 300km long, it twists and turns along tightly carved canyons and valleys amongst the spectacular red rock for which this region is famous. Starting and finishing with nights in Las Vegas, we head out onto the lake and camp on a remote beach - a small houseboat supports the group with creature comforts - cold drinks and great food! From this base we explore the lake's remarkable geology and fascinating Native American history, whilst revelling in the solitude and splendour of the scenery.
